The EL640.480-AF1 is a 6.4-inch industrial electroluminescent (TFEL) display module designed by Lumineq (Planar Systems). It uses thin-film electroluminescent (EL) technology, which is a self-emissive display (no backlight required). It is widely used in mission-critical industrial, medical, and HMI systems where high reliability, wide viewing angles, and fast response are required.
Unlike LCDs, it produces light directly from phosphor layers, making it highly readable in extreme lighting conditions and very responsive.
